On November 14, 2024, the College of Engineering at the University of Sulaimani commemorated the 240th anniversary of Sulaymaniyah – the cultural capital once known as the property of the Babans. The event was graced by the presence of the Dean, Vice Dean, faculty members, staff, and students, who made the celebration vibrant and memorable.

The occasion highlighted the vital role of students and young people in shaping Sulaymaniyah’s future. Their passion, creativity, and dedication were emphasized as the driving forces behind creating a flourishing environment for culture, education, and opportunities.
